Review: TorchED First Look

TorchED is the recently released editor for the Runic Games release, Torchlight. I thought that since it was brought up on Incoming Pull Live! Episode 25, that I would go ahead and offer up this look of what the editor has to offer.

Yes, I did download the editor as soon as it was available, and the purchase of the full game is not a prerequisite to getting the software. It is freely available for anyone to download.

According to the Runic Games F.A.Q, "This is the primary tool which we used to create Torchlight ourselves, and exposes a huge amount of the game to user customization. Players will be able to create their own fixed and random levels, items, skills, classes, monsters, quests, adjust balance, and so forth." Rather than typing up a wall of text here to describe its features, I dug up some videos made by Runic games.
