News: Christmas Runes... of Magic

Christmas is just around the corner and it seems like everyone is gearing up for the holidays. Whether you're doing your last minute shopping or still trying to hang some lights on your roof, the spirit of the season is here. Even the game developers are in the mood to spread some Christmas cheer, and Frogster Interactive is no exception when it comes to their popular free-to-play MMORPG, Runes of Magic.

Announced last week, the world of Taborea will soon be seeing the effects of that Christmas spirit throughout the lands.

In mid-December, we will launch the in-game Snowflake Festival, which will give the game world a truly festive look. With the release of daily quests, you will be able to play for gifts. You can even use Festive furniture and Christmas tree seeds to decorate your in-game houses.

The event is titled the "Snowflake Festival" and will be partnered by some out-of-game festivities too. There is a Christmas Competition, some new screenshots in the gallery, and some original artwork that will be unveiled each day leading up to the start of the event on the Runes of Magic Advent Calendar.
