News: Zombie Driver gets messy

You know what was missing from Left 4 Dead? Buses with flame-throwers attached to the front of them. Thank you, EXOR Studios, for delivering.

Released on Steam and GamersGate for $8.99 and $9.95 respectively, Zombie Driver puts the player in the seat of a car, truck, buss or tank in order to bring vehicular manslaughter to any walking dead that gets in his or her way.

The object is simple: save survivors and kill any zombie that gets in your way by either running them over or blowing them up. Zombie Driver offers several different ways to customize vehicles for higher damage output. These upgrades are purchased with the money earned for completing quests or making kill combos.

The game's open world feature will allow players to explore alleys and backyards to look for hidden treasures and power-ups.

Key features for Zombie Driver include:
- 17 story missions with sub quests and bonus objectives,
- Huge, free roaming city, infested by thousands of brain hungry zombies,
- Seven different cars including an unlockable super car,
- Nine different upgrades for each car, which can transform even an innocent Taxi into a Chariot of Death
- All cars can be mounted with miniguns, flamethrowers, rocket launchers or even dual railguns.
- All weapons have three upgrade levels which come with unique features.
- Dynamic combo system with tricks and hordes of zombies to try it on.
- Many vicious zombie types including even zombie dogs.
